Our approach to investment management is "We care about what we leave behind". We assess sustainability risks and opportunities when making investment decisions.
Since 2017, AB Invalda INVL has signed and supports the Principles for Responsible Investment, promoted by the United Nations.
When developing financial products and managing investments, we strive to contribute responsibly to societal well-being. We do not invest in sectors that have the most significant negative impact on society and the environment.
The level of integration of environmental, social, and governance (hereinafter – ESG) factors in our processes varies depending on the asset class, investment strategy, or term of the product. Sustainability aspects are also applied when assessing product risks and ensuring sound governance practices. We actively engage in investment management and regularly monitor progress throughout the investment cycle.
While sustainability aspects and ESG factors are important elements that we consider throughout the investment management cycle – depending on the specific financial product – they represent only one of many sources of information used in our investment process. The integration of ESG factors does not alter or override our fiduciary duty: the financial interests of our clients always take precedence. All investment decisions are made with the sole objective of achieving the highest possible financial return for the client.
Precontractual information on financial products under Articles 8 and 9 of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 November 2019 on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector (SFDR), website disclosures under Article 10, and periodic disclosures under Article 11 of the SFDR are included in the financial product documentation, which is available only to investors and potential investors.
